Not ours! We use green Saba bananas, which have 75% less sugar than the ripe Cavendish bananas that you’re used to eating from the grocery store. Most of our Kettle Cooked ‘Nana Chips and Grain Free Snack Mixes contain only 1g of total sugars per serving.
According the International Glycemic Index Database, any foods with a GI value under 55 are considered Low Glycemic. Fully ripe Cavendish bananas are listed with a GI value of 51 (still low glycemic). Green bananas are listed with a value of only 30.
Another wonderful benefit of our green bananas are that they are high in resistant starch, which have a prebiotic effect. Before bananas ripen, they contain mostly resistant starch (which will convert to simple sugars if allowed to go thru the ripening process). Studies show that resistant starch can lead to better digestive health.
Currently, all of B. Fine's products are vegan EXCEPT our Bourbon Vanilla UnGranola, which does have honey. Additionally, our entire facility is egg and dairy free, as we want to offer a large variety of products for a wide range of restricted diets.
Yes, we fry our green Saba banana in nutrient dense coconut oil. We feel that is the most nutrient dense and high-heat stable oil that we can use. More and more research is showing that saturated fat is no longer the enemy that we thought it was back in the 70's and 80's. In fact, it can be beneficial for us, especially when coming from coconut.

Most of the sodium content is coming from the trace-mineral-rich Sea Salt that we use to provide for our bold flavors. The new research on sodium is proving to be interesting. We really respect the work of Dr. Chris Kresser. He wrote a very in depth report on salt with a fresh look at the latest data. See the below link...
https://chriskresser.com/specialreports/salt/
His concluding statements:
"Hundreds of studies have been conducted on salt intake, and a consistent pattern has never been established for sodium’s role in a variety of negative health outcomes. Considering the evidence I’ve presented in this series, I believe that salt restriction for the general population is not only unnecessary, but potentially dangerous."
Since our products are all considered snacks, the FDA actually has a serving size guideline of 1oz or 30g. Our granolas also fall into the snack category since the FDA category for cereals is actually "grain based cereals." Our UnGranolas aren't grain based, so they don't fall into the cereal category!
In general, grain-free products are more expensive than the cheap alternatives we’re used to. For example, most granolas use oats as their primary ingredient. Oats are cheap, and they’re also a grain that we don’t use. Our ungranolas use a combination of coconuts, nuts, and bananas, which are most expensive but we think more indulgent than oats.
In all of our products, we use the highest quality, grain free, non-GMO ingredients available. We don’t take shortcuts, as we cater to very specific restricted diets like Paleo, AIP, and grain-free. Sometimes that means our foods are more expensive than what you might be used to, but if you’re on a restricted diet, your health is worth it.
Yes! We currently haveketo granolasand keto nut mixes that have only 2 and 3 grams of net carbs per serving. These are fantastic options if you're on the keto diet!
Our Snack Mixes and 'Nana Chips are best by 12 months from the manufacturing date. Our Ungranolas are best by 18 months from the manufacturing date.
We use green saba bananas in many of our products. These bananas are pretty fantastic since they taste nothing like the cavendish bananas that we're so used to in the US. They almost like a clean slate... a little bit like a potato... so that means we can make our bananas taste however we want! So, if you don't like bananas, I would recommend you try anything except our Bananas Foster UnGranola, which does actually have banana puree as an ingredient (as in... it tastes like bananas!).
We are Project Verified Non-GMO and are certified Kosher, Vegan, and Paleo by Earth Kosher.
You can check for for food allergens on the back packaging of all of B. Fine's products. Allergen information is also included on our product pages. If there is a specific ingredient you are looking for, please examine the list closely.
All B. Fine products are produced in a dedicated peanut free and gluten free facility that processes tree nuts.
From time to time, we will make changes to our recipes. While this is rare, we only ever make a change if we feel it improves the taste and quality of the product. Before the product is ever made available, we do rigorous testing with our consumer testing group of 100 people to ensure that the taste has improved.
Our products are located in distribution centers all over the U.S. When you place an order, your shipment will be pulled from whichever facility (or facilities) will get your B. Fine Snacks there the fastest. Sometimes this means your order will be coming from two different places and your entire order will not come at the same time.
If you chose standard shipping for your order, you should receive everything within 8 business days of placing your order. If for some reason your entire order doesn’t show up within 8 business days, email us at customerservice@b-finefoods.com, and we’ll make sure you get your B. Fine Snacks!
We offer a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee. This means if you’re not happy with your purchase, we will make it right for you. Just send us an email at customerservice@b-finefoodss.com, and we’ll be happy to assist you.
Our standard shipping is 5-8 business days but sometimes it may arrive faster then that! Contact customer service for any issues regarding the status of your order.
If for some reason you need to change your shipping address, contact us immediately at customerservice@bubbasfoods.com. Our shipping team is pretty quick. So if your package has already been shipped, we won't be able to change your address.
Once your order ships, you will receive an email with the subject line "Yes! We put your name on a box for order #1234" that includes your tracking information. If your order is sent in multiple shipments, you may receive this email a few times so that you have all of your tracking information.
Most orders from our website are actually shipped from Amazon warehouses. This allows us to pass savings on to you, and it generally means that your order will arrive more quickly.
The easiest way to ship to multiple locations is to place multiple orders. Unfortunately, an individual order cannot be split between multiple locations.
At this time, we can ship to all 50 states and most US territories. If you live internationally, please visit iHerb.com to see what B. Fine products may be available in your country.
All orders over $19.99 have standard free shipping. Orders under $19.99 will be charged $2.99 for shipping.
If you do not like your order, we will happily process you a refund. Generally, we do not ask you to ship the product back to us and only ask that you give unopened bags to friends or family that might enjoy the product.
If you do not receive what you ordered or part of your order never arrived, please reach out to us at customerservice@b-finefoods.com with your order number and we will make things right for you.

More than likely, you did not activate your account. Look in your UPDATES or SPAM/JUNK folders for an account activation email and click the "ACTIVATE MY SUBSCRIPTION" button. If you can't find the email, just let us know, and we can send another email to activate your subscription.
If you are signed up for our rewards program, you already know the power of B. Fine Bucks (hint: your B. Fine Bucks can be used for big discounts on future purchases). When you are logged into your account, click the REWARDS button on the bottom of our website, either on mobile or on desktop (on mobile the button looks like a shopping bag with a heart). Then click the REDEEM button and trade in your points for their redemption value. You will receive a CODE that you can then use in the DISCOUNT field while you're checking out.
Unfortunately, no. B. Fine Bucks function similar to coupon codes. Since our website cannot accept more than one discount code per transaction (this is standard for most websites), you will only be able to redeem your Bucks OR a coupon code.
If you have a coupon code that expires, we recommend using the coupon code before its expiration date. All transactions will accumulate B. Fine Bucks as long as you are a rewards member, so after a few orders with or without coupon codes, you should have enough Bucks to get yourself a sweet deal on some delicious B. Fine Foods snacks!
Never fear! After you redeem your B. Fine Bucks, you will see your reward code in the rewards section AND you will receive an email with that same code. If for some reason you cannot find the code, you can alway click into the REWARDS section using the button on the bottom of our site. Scroll to the bottom where you will see a section titled "Your rewards." Click there, and you will see all of your unredeemed reward codes.
First, see if your discount code has expired. Then make sure you have entered in the correct discount code in the discount field at checkout. If you still cannot get your code to work, please contact us at customerservice@b-finefoods.com.
